WHY SHOULD WE PURCHASE FROM MIDSTATE BURGLAR BARS & IRONWORKS, INC.?
I'm sure there are other companies that do a good job building burglar bars. However, I know for a fact that here at Midstate Burglar Bars & Ironworks we have the years of experience and understand your needs on a custom fabrication basis, doing your family a great job. You will receive a very prompt response before, during and after you have received your security products. We've been bui.ding burglar bars, securituy doors, AC Cages, Gates, Etc. for 30 years and probably have run across most every situation. You will deal with me, Buck Franklin or Christy Wood. HOW WILL I GET OUT OF MY HOUSE IN CASE OF FIRE?
The international building code requires we furnish (1) keyless fire escape per bedroom. Midstate Burglar Bars & Ironworks abides by this law. NO EXCEPTIONS!
ARE SECURITY DOORS DIFFICULT TO INSTALL?
No. It would be a plus if the installer has some carpentry experience. There are installation instructions posted on our website.
ARE BURGLAR BARS DIFFICULT TO INSTALL?
Not at all. Our burglar bars at Midstate Burglar Bars & Ironworks are adjustable so they expand to fit your window. A little carpentry experience would be helpful but not neccesary. We have shipped to many customers and the feedback we get is "Very simple to install".
IS IT HARD TO MEASURE FOR SECURITY DOORS OR BURGLAR BARS?
No. All you will need is a measuring tape, pad and pen. Our security doors are measured from the inside to inside of the brink molding (horizontal) and bottom of teh brick modling to the top of the threshold (vertically). Usually, doors are 32" x 80" OR 36" x 80", for example.
WHAT TOOLS WILL I NEED?
DOORS: Drill, 3/32 Drill Bit, 1/4" Drill Bit, 7/8" Hole Saw. Level, Measuring Tape, Phillips Head Screw Drive or Driver Bit.
BURGLAR BARS: Drill with Hammer Driver, 1/4" & 3/16" Masonary Bit, Regular Drill (Most are one in the same), Phillips Bit, We furnish the Torx Bit.
